This is my tiny corner of the net. I intend this to be a spot where boardgamers can come and browse through my small collection of boardgame add-ons and variants. I am just barley able to use Dreamweaver, so this page is going to be bare-bones. My hope is that some like-minded gamenerds will find this page useful.
Here is a picture of me (and my sign).
It was taken on a trip to Fremont Nebraska.

I consider myself an old grognard, from way back. I first started wargaming in high school, in or around 1978. The first wargame I ever played (excluding Risk) was "CA". The first wargame I ever owned was "PanzerBlitz". But enough about me...
First: here is a new file created by my friend Bob, who is a big Axis&Allies D-Day fan. Its a exel file of the sequence of play. I have changed the fonts and colours, but the content is all complements of Bob. Thanks buddy!
And here are links to a bunch of wargame documents I have developed:
NEW! This is a link to a monsterously large JPG file I created in Photoshop of a new map for the old AH game "The War at Sea" It tops out at over 8megs, so downloading could take awhile.
....Just updated the aircraft graphics on the map. A last few tweeks and minor spelling errors fixed. That's about it; I don't intend to change anything else.
Two PDF's for "Andersonville", a game from Panzerschreck magazine #7-
Andersonville Sequence of play, and an Andersonville play aid.
A PDF for "First Day of the Some" (Panzerschrek magazine #5). These are new counters for the game. I blew up the map so they would fit.
A player aid file for "Dogger Bank: Battlecruisers at War" (Panzerschrek magazine #5, game 2).
A player aid for placing and keeping track of air units in "NORDCAPP" (Strategy and Tactics magazine #94).
Some home-brewed rules for Making Avalon Hill's "Hitler's War" more fun.
A player aid for Avalon Hill's "Princess Ryan's Star Marines". It allows you to track individual marines in order to see which marine really is the "winner"(in terms of Promotion Points).
A player aid for Avalon Hill's "Storm Over Arnhem". I sent the original excel file to Web-Grognards. This is a PDF copy.
A variant for playing Avalon Hill's "Risk 2210" with six or more players.
Three PDF files for "West Wall" (Wargamer #35). The first is a set up chart. The other two are reinforcement charts. I can't remember now why I did this. It seemed important at the time.
Here are some files for Columbia Games "Quebec 1759". The first is a Battle Board. The second is a set of counters to go with the optional leader rules originally found in Canadian Wargamer's Journal. I believe they can also be found on Consimworld in the Quebec 1759 folder.
Here are the rules from CWJ vol.7 no.1 for Advanced Quebec 1759. quebec.pdf
These are 2 new kinds of cards for "Enemy in Sight" (Avalon Hill). The first is a Marine card, that can be played like a grape card during boarding attempts. The second is an Admiral card. When placed under a ship at sea, it allows the player to hold one extra card. If the ship card with the Admiral card is sunk the "Admiral" card goes down with the ship. If the ship is captured, the Admiral card is discarded. You will need to download both the templates; one is for the front of the cards, the other is for the back. They seem to print out best with 110 pound card stock. My thanks to Tom Cundiff for creating the template and for his tireless work in making EIS cards available via the internet.
You can see more of Tom's work here- http://www.thewargamer.com/EnemyInSight/index.html
Here are to play aids for "Red Storm Rising" (TSR). They are actually scans of the original. I seem to have misplaced the word doc. file, so they aren't that great looking. Still useful though, in my opinion.
Well, that's all for now. I'll be updating this as I come across more stuff I did over the past couple of years. Feel free to download as many files as ya like. If you have a question, or a comment on any of these files, please send me an email. My address is t.allen@uwinnipeg.ca.
